Transforming Small World
II Preschool With A Vibrant New Look

At Small World II Preschool, creating a bright, engaging space for children is a top priority. When the owners noticed their building’s exterior paint was failing—especially on the east side—they knew it was time for a refresh. That’s when Red Door Painting Pros stepped in to bring their vision to life.
The first step was addressing the old paint, which was visibly peeling off the building. The entire east side, in particular, needed significant attention, requiring meticulous scraping and patching of the surface to restore it to a like-new condition. This crucial preparation ensures a smooth, long-lasting finish that will stand the test of time and shine brightly. Hannah Verbridge, Facility Director of Small World Preschool, described the Red Door team as 'great workers who are very professional, with great communication.'
Next came the fun part—choosing and applying a fresh color scheme! Verbridge wanted a palette that reflected the energy and excitement of the preschoolers, "There has been a lot of great feedback, the colors pop, we love it!" she said. The team swapped out the old, faded colors for a brighter, more vibrant tone that instantly brought the building to life. The transformation was stunning, turning the preschool into a more inviting and cheerful place for the students, parents, and staff!
In addition to the new paint job, Red Door also updated the lettering on the front and side of the building. This not only enhanced the overall aesthetic but reinforced the preschool’s identity with clear, bold signage, making it easy to spot from a distance. Verbridge said, "The letter colors are meant to match the new company."
The result? A fresh, fun, and revitalized space that perfectly captures the spirit of Small World Preschool and reflects the same joy and energy happening inside! The Red Door team is excited to finish out the transformation of Small World Preschool II later this year when they return to paint the interior of the building.
